Overview
The Study-Intern Program at the University of Seville was conceived for those interested in staying in Spain for 6 to 12 months. It combines credit courses in business and tourism with the real-life challenges of an internship in a Spanish business in Seville. Backed by four centuries of experience and tradition, the University of Seville offers BEST΄s participants a curriculum in English and Spanish, bilingual coordination and the convenience of being located in the center of historic Seville.
This program allows you to elect up to 15 university credits each semester which you will combine with an internship in a Spanish firm to improve your Spanish in a professional as well as an academic setting.

A GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale)
Intermediate Spanish (unless taking course options in English)
18 years of age or older
Professional or academic experience in internship area. Note: internships are dependant upon a minimum intermediate language level

Lodging is optional in shared apartments or with families at a cost of approximately 500 USD/month (depending on currency fluctuations). Please see our web site for more information.
Program Costs
Its cost is only 2700 (or $3315) for one semester. Registration for an academic year is 3600 ($4420). Payment is in Euros. Quoted amounts in USD can fluctuate according to the exchange rate. There is a 300 Euro deductible registration fee.

1. an language interchange data base to meet and set up conversation exchanges with Spanish student
2. Also, discounts at weekly interchange discos in a famous Madrid palace, discounts on all excursions, Internet cafθ, student travel agency, etc.

The application procedure is simple and the deadline for Spring, 2005 December 16, 2004. If you have less time you can inquire about availability. There is a 15 student maximum per semester.
