Overview
WorldTeach volunteers teach in public elementary and high schools to students with a wide range of English skills. Volunteers are placed in sites on Majuro, the urban center, and in more remote sites on the outer islands, many of which do not have basic modern conveniences such as electricity. WorldTeach provides a month long orientation and training program and ongoing field support. Program fee includes international roundtrip airfare, health insurance, and meals and accommodations while in country.
Eligibility
Volunteers must be native English speakers and hold a bachelor's degree.

Volunteers receive a monthly stipend of $125 to cover the cost of living expenses.
Program Costs
The program is fully funded by the Marshall Islands Ministry of Education. A $1500 deposit is required, but will be refunded to volunteers upon completion of the program.
