Overview
The Liberal Arts program aims to provide students with first-hand knowledge of contemporary issues and cultural patterns in Chile, accomplished through an orientation program, supplemental cultural activities throughout the semester, and Chilean homestays. Its goals are also to meet the academic needs of students through direct enrollment at two outstanding universities in Santiago: the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Universidad de Chile.

- Overall GPA 2.75
- 6 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent
- Spanish language course within the past year recommended

Program Costs
Current pricing will begin to be available on 8/15/08 on our website.

Costs Include:  The CIEE fees for 2008-09 include tuition, housing, all meals, an optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, orientation, immersion activities including language partners and volunteer opportunities, a comprehensive student handbook, pre-departure advising, and scheduled activities during the semester which may include seminars, walking tours, museum visits, concerts and theater, and day trips to local attractions such as vineyards, mines, and hot springs. Student IDs issued by the host institutions provide admission to university libraries, computer labs, and discounts to host university events. A CIEE iNext travel card provides insurance and other travel benefits.
