These goals are achieved through intensive language coursework, social science area studies, literature and history coursework, sports and arts programs, and immersion into Dominican life. For-credit community service or teaching English as a second language opportunities are available, as are a variety of not-for-credit options. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit semester: 15-18 semester hours/22.5-27 quarter hours academic academic year: 30-36 semester hours/45-54 quarter hours Eligibility - Overall GPA 2.75 - 3.0 GPA in Spanish Language - 4 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family - Dominican Homestays Program Costs Current pricing will begin to be available on 8/15/08 on our website.
