The program offers a core course in Irish culture and society followed by opportunities to study in a variety of disciplines. The program location, combined with the host institution’s expertise, also permits students to intern in a field related to their academic studies. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit semester: 15 semester/22.5 quarter hours academic year: 30 semester/45 quarter hours Eligibility - Overall GPA 3.0 Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family • Apartment / Flat - Irish homestays - Single in on-campus apartment shared with CIEE, international, and Irish students Program Costs Current pricing will begin to be available on 8/15/08 on our website. Costs Include:  The CIEE fees for 2008-09 include tuition, housing, two meals per day in the homestay option, optional on-site meet and greet, fulltime leadership and support, orientation, cultural activities (museums, cathedrals, and local villages), excursions (to places such as Belfast, Derry, West of Ireland and the Aran Islands) pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits. *For students in on-campus housing, no meals are included.
