Overview
Eicar, The International Film School of Paris is an accrademic institution providing courses in both English or French. The School delivers a BFA and an MFA in film directing and producing and includes a highly practical approach with over 70% of crafts studied hands on in our 6 professional film and TV studios on modern equipment, studio broadcast, cameras digital and HD, super 16mm and 35mm, Avid and Final Cut editing, Protools sound stations.
Our courses prepare for carreers in the film industry and we deliver the right mix of vocational skills which can equip students to enter the industry. In order to complete the degree courses students have to complete an internship of a minimum 8 weeks in the industry.
We also provide in-depth technical training in specific areas such as sound, camera, editing, special effects, and production management. We pay special attention to new technologies and have a close relationship with equipment manufacturers so that students remain up to date with the most recent digital technology.

Include: The above costs include all tuition, equipment and film costs without accomodation and general living expenses.
Dates
The BFA and MFA courses begin in October. Short courses begin in January through to end of June. Summer courses are held in July, August and September.
Deadlines
Application deadline for the October entrance is 31st July and for short courses 14 days prior to beginning of course
