Students gain an understanding of Australian society and its connections with Asia while pursuing an exceptional range of academics and recreation. Integration with Australian students and other opportunities to become immersed in local society enable students to go beyond observation and become full participants in the host culture. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit semester: 15 semester/22.5 quarter hours academic year: 30 semester/45 quarter hours Eligibility Overall GPA 2.75 Housing/Accommodation • Apartment / Flat Program Costs Spring 2008 - $12,600 Academic Year 2007-08 - $20,100 Calendar Year 2008 - $21,600 Costs Include:  The CIEE fee for 2007–08 includes tuition, full-time program leadership and support, housing, optional on-site airport meet and greet, orientation, cultural activities (museums, theaters, art galleries), local excursions (Australian Rules Football, bush walking, twilight cinema), field trips, host institution identity card (for access to libraries, sports facilities), admission fees to host university events, comprehensive student handbook, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits. *Includes mandatory Australian insurance Financial Aid Yes.
