Pixel was awarded the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate. Pixel is also accredited by Tuscany County Council and by the Italian Ministry of Education. Pixel has vast experience in the organisation of professional language courses aimed at individuals who intend to acquire Italian language communication skills. Pixel specialises in organising individual Italian language courses for foreigners. The courses are highly personalised and flexible, responding to the specific needs of each student. TYPES OF COURSES Pixel offers two types of courses: Type 1: Individual classroom based courses The individual courses organised by Pixel allow students of all levels to reach excellent training results in a short period of time. The contents of the course can be entirely personalised: the student specifies the type of language skills that they intend to acquire and is presented with a tailor-made programme which responds totally to his/her language learning objectives. Type 2: Individual classroom based course and internship Pixel offers the opportunity for individuals to carry out work experience (an internship) in a Tuscan company. This allows the student to participate in daily business activities of an Italian company. Before carrying out the internship, the student should carry out an individual intensive course to prepare for the internship of at least 40 hours. TARGET GROUP Pixel’s training offer is aimed at: - Managers and professionals who wish to learn a lot in a short period of time and require a tailor-made learning style. - Teachers of Italian language and culture who wish to further their knowledge regarding some of the themes of subjects taught. - Young adults who are aiming to acquire the necessary skills for studying or working in Italy and wish to carry out work experience in Italy. METHODOLOGY The teaching methodology proposed by Pixel adapts itself to the personal characteristics and requirements of the student. The focus, independent of the level, is on the development of both written and oral communication and comprehension skills. Grammar is developed in a functional way and relates to the linguistic contents which the student intends to develop in order to equip them with the tools for correct expression and understanding at whatever level of linguistic knowledge. The learning approach adopted is highly practical and makes continual use of simulations and learning games with the aim of making everything learnt immediately applicable and efficient. The course can last from a minimum of 2 hours up until a maximum of 8 hours per day. Courses can be carried out every day or on alternate days from Monday to Saturday.
