Overview
The School of Flora N Fauna is happy to offer a special program that incorporates the study of and work experience in environmental education (EE). During this program the student will learn valuable science concepts, EE teaching pedagogy and theories, and how to run outdoor education courses. The program is divided between a studying the concepts in courses and then applying them during the working internship. The program can be completed part-time over several years, or full-time during a spring quarter (2006) abroad in France.

Program Costs
TEEI Europe: $6785.00
Costs
Include: The program costs include and cover during the dates of study and work all accommodations and breakfasts, some dinners, all transportation, all park and preserve entry fees, special extra field trips to The Natural History Museum of Paris and the Plant Gardens in Paris and other parks and gardens in Paris, all instruction and mentorship, 20 credits of course study in science material and environmental education techniques and theories, and full-time work experience in an outdoor course.
Financial Aid
Yes.
Many programs in the USA require an internship to graduate, and most universities have an international programs office that allows the students to conduct their own internships or independent study abroad so that federal financial aid will cover the costs of the program. Contact SFF for help in doing this.
Dates
For the part-time option this varies.
For the full-time option study and work dates will be March 15-June 30, 2006.
