Overview
 3-Month Summer and Autumn Intensives in Drawing and Painting, in Poitou-Charentes (mid-May to early November, annually); Paris Drawing Programs (monthly and longer) at the Gericault Studio and Musee du Louvre, Paris (December to April, annually). Draw and paint the human figure from life, 6 hrs daily, with leading national/ international figurative artists and visiting critics. 12 students maximum per course.

Argenton-Chateau only :
Furnished housing costs vary : 550 - 650 euros/month including utilities. ** Shared housing includes wireless 1024k DSL internet access.
Students and Residents shop and cook for themselves. No meal plan.
Standard housing for 3-month programs is a furnished 2BR apt or house, shared with another student, within easy walking distance of program studios, and all town services (bakery, butcher, banks, ATM, grocery, farmer's market, pharmacy, doctor, taxi, car/bike rental, etc).
Private housing is also available within walking distance. Home-stays with local families are possible, but rare.

Programs in Argenton-Chateau
3-Month Summer Intensive: 3250 euros (priority tuition price; add ~1900 euros for rent)
3-Month Autumn Intensive: 3000 euros (priority tuition price; add ~1900 euros for rent)
Costs
Include: Tuition covers 6 hrs daily of drawing or painting from the model, with daily lectures or critique (15 -24 hrs weekly)

Tuition reduction awards, from $1000 - $2500 USD for Intensive Students only, based on portfolio review, and/or various work-study options.
