Overview
Artclub Dordogne, is starting it's first year in April 2005.
The busy programme includes courses in Watercolour and Botanical painting, with 4 different artists. The resident artist, Francesca Dimond, will be running courses throughout the year, introducing students to the techniques of sculpting with steel, to include working with the forge and welding skills.
All artists/tutors have many years teaching experience, and have been chosen for the enthusiasm with which they teach. Equally committed to teaching complete beginners or those with more experience.
The Artclub has 2 holiday cottages, converted lovingly from a French Farmhouse with a fabulous studio, and heated pool and offers full or half board accommodation. It is situated in the historical area of the Dordogne river with it's many chateaux, prehistoric caves and medieval villages and churches, colourful markets, good food and wine... a perfect area for those tempted to brush up on their artistic skills.
