Overview
CC-CS offers students an exceptional cross-cultural study experience, in Córdoba, at one of the oldest and most respected universities in the Americas, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). Programs feature homestays, cultural excursions and more!
CC-CS students in Cordoba study on-site at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). Founded by the Jesuits in 1613, UNC’s history is closely intertwined with the city of Córdoba. Located in the center of historic downtown, UNC is home to many of the city’s unique and rich historical sites, architecture, and resources. UNC’s prestige attracts students from all over Argentina and South America. You will share daily activities with your fellow students, whether attending classes or socializing. In this atmosphere of constant immersion, you will find a great opportunity to adopt the Argentine student lifestyle.
Students begin with the one-month intensive language and culture course earning four semester-hour credits. During the regular semester, you enroll in two or more courses organized by CC-CS and UNC in advanced Spanish, Argentine literature and modern Argentine history and culture. Students also directly enroll in at one or two courses at UNC, where they study alongside native Argentine students.
Córdoba, the university capital of Argentina, is popularly known as La Docta because of its rich academic tradition. This warm and inviting city offers you an ideal environment for cross-cultural immersion in Argentine society. In your free time, you may take advantage of Córdoba's extraordinary setting. Located beside the foothills of the Sierra Chica mountain range and surrounded by lakes and rivers, the region is renowned worldwide as a site for hiking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities.

Earn 17 - 21 credits per semester (includes intensive language and culture course)
Eligibility
Prerequisite: Successful completion of three semesters of college Spanish or the equivalent;
3.0 GPA in Spanish coursework required

Cross-cultural learning begins with life outside the classroom. All CC-CS students studying in Córdoba live with a local family. This immersion in Argentine culture and Spanish language will help you gain an understanding of daily life and customs in Córdoba.

Costs
Include: CC-CS full-immersion programs feature: internships, scholarships, homestays, on-site Resident Director, integrated university courses, internet, all-inclusive day and overnight excursions, full access to university facilities, orientation and medical insurance.
Financial Aid
Yes.
CC-CS awards up to $2,500 in scholarships to qualified students enrolled in our programs. All students are encouraged to apply.
CC-CS has also created the Alumni Scholar Fund which awards stipends up to $1,000 to every student choosing embark on an additional cross-cultural program with CC-CS.
