Overview
The Ithaca College Walkabout Down Under is a unique study abroad program that will give you the opportunity to experience three very different regions of Australia in one semester. You will attend three excellent universities and study one subject area each month, centered around the general theme of "Australian studies". Subjects include film and media, literature, aboriginal studies and an environmental studies course on the island of Tasmania. Experiential learning and numerous field trips compliment the course work. An optional photography course in the Outback is also offered. You will live in apartments and/or dormitories with fellow program students and have plenty of time for your own travels, as well.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Possibiility to earn 16-18 general ed/liberal arts requirements.

Financial Aid
Yes.
Aid may be available through your own college or university. Most federal and state aid will be transferable.
Dates
Spring semester programs generally run from Feb. 10 - June 20th, or July 10th with the optional course.
Fall semester programs generally run from July 10 - Nov. 10th, or Nov. 25th with the optional course.
There is a week long break in the middle of each semester.
Deadlines
October 15th for Spring programs, March 15 for Fall programs.
