Overview
Learn to cook hands-on with an English chef. If you have ever wanted to cook and present dishes like professional and television chefs, but never thought you had the skills, you will learn how at our cooking school. Set in a magnificent converted barn in the Dordogne countryside, you'll be cooking some great classic and contemporary dishes from France and around the world. Together, we'll be preparing, cooking and, yes, eating dishes from France, the Mediterranean and the Pacific Rim. Among other things, you'll learn to cook pastries, breads and soups; select and prepare the best fish and seafood; butcher common joints of meat; cook classic French and Italian sauces and construct modern dressings. You'll master the art of professional contemporary food presentation.
