Overview
WorldTeach volunteers teach English, mathematics, science, and computers, in primary and secondary schools and adult education centers. Equally they help integrate computer technologies into classroom instruction. Volunteers may also teach HIV/AIDS education or develop extracurricular activities and programs in their communities. The twelve-month program starts in December. Volunteers receive a monthly stipend to cover basic living expenses. WorldTeach provides training and orientation. Program fee includes international roundtrip airfare, health insurance, and meals and accommodations while in country.
