Overview
Since 1988, Canadian International College (CIC) has been providing innovative academic programs for international students.
CIC provides an academically stimulating, safe and comfortable learning environment for international students. Our beautifully landscaped campus situated on 6.5 acres is a place where students study in a quiet and secure park-like setting. Close to the ocean and mountains, students are still only minutes away from the busy metropolitan and multicultural city of Vancouver.
Our campus facilities include a 320 bed student residence, cafeteria, gymnasium and tennis court. Extracurricular programs and services provide a supportive and fun community, which fosters personal growth and development.
CIC offers a university transfer program: the 60 credit Liberal Arts Diploma program can completed in a minimum of 16 months. Prior to taking the diploma program, students complete a University foundations program, designed to prepare students with the academic English and research skills necessary to succeed in a North American university setting. If students need to improve their English language skills and increase their TOEFL score, they spend one or more semesters in the levelled Academic English program.
CIC has transfer credit arrangements with a number of universities where students can receive up to 60 credits towards a bachelor's degree.
CIC was the first private college to be accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (formerly the Post Secondary Educational Commission) in the Province of British Columbia.
