The Barbados Summer Study Abroad will offer a six credit English course this summer in Barbados. Participants will earn six credits and will experience the rich culture, history, and locale of the island of Barbados through readings integrated with visits to former plantations, walking tours of gardens and the capital, horseback riding through cane fields, cultural shows and literary readings, and participation in Barbados' annual carnival, Cropover. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Students receive six academic credits, transferable to colleges and universities. Eligibility Students must be currently enrolled and in good standing in a US four-year college or university. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory Housing is included in the program. Program Costs The six week program cost is $5500.00/student. Costs Include:  Program costs include airfare, board, and all excursions in Barbados, but do not include tuition. Dates Program runs from six weeks from July to August annually.
