This program is open to the following: 1st year Med Student, 2nd year Med Student, 3rd year Med Student, 4th year Med Student, EMTs, Nurses, Nursing Students, Physician Assistants. Costs Include:  4 weeks of classes with 20 hours per week of group Portuguese class (max 5 students per class), private room with a host family, breakfast and dinner daily with host family, cultural activities, 2 full day excursions, and a 2 week service learning placement in a hospital or clinic.
