A programme with a strong focus on European Culture and Society. Leuven is a medieval university town in the center of Europe. Brussels, the administrative center of the E.U. is only 20 miles away. Leuven is a charming place in Flanders, full of historic buildings on the main axis of the European railroad network. It?s the perfect home base to explore Europe. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Students remain registered at their home institution and can only enrol with the approval of their college/university. It is the home institution that awards credit towards courses taken at K.U.Leuven. Eligibility *Students must have completed at least 4 semesters of university study. *Students must be in good academic standing (for example US: min. GPA 3.0, Canada 68-70%,...) *TOEFL 220 (CBT), 590 (PBT) or IELTS 6.5 *Students must remain registered at the home institution and their participation in the programme needs to be approved by the home institution Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory Housing: Approx. 250/300 EURO per month includes: rent, use of internet, bed linnen, use of pots, pans, other kitchen utensils, energy costs Housing in single or double rooms in mixed residencies (international students and Belgian students) Program Costs Tuition: Students pay home tuition. Programme fees are paid by the home school.
