The program features NYU courses, taught by NYU faculty, members of the Humboldt faculty, and Berlin's wider academic community. The program is especially designed for students in social sciences, history, and German studies. Course offerings focus on the society, politics, history, and culture of Germany and contemporary Western Europe. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Official transcript Eligibility Students must be enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian college or university and submit an application with a current college transcript, a letter of recommendation, and an essay to NYU's Office of Study Abroad Admissions. The minimum age is 18 and the minimum GPA is 3.0. Students must have completed their freshman year to study abroad.
