Overview
Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in more than 30 programs throughout the world.
Founded in Fall 2005, the IES Sydney program offers direct enrollment in three of Sydney's major universities: Macquarie University, University of New South Wales, and University of Sydney. Students can choose from a full range of courses in more than 300 disciplines at these universities and have access to University facilities that include state-of-the-art laboratories with modern computing and international data networks, advanced specialist centers, and an exceptional teaching and research libraries. The program also boasts internship opportunities in a variety of disciplines, an orientation field trip, and week-long field trips to locations such as the Great Barrier Reef, Darwin, and Kakadu National Park.

Students will take 15-16 credits per semester.
