All lessons are a combination of conversation, grammar, reading, writing, and day-to-day useful vocabulary. We believe that the main goal of learning a language is to be able to communicate verbally. To complement what they learn in the classroom we offer outings such as visiting local markets and churches and excursions to surrounding villages like Chamula and Zinacantán, plus other interesting sites near our city. We also offer cooking classes and tropical dancing lessons (salsa, merengue, cumbia). All these outings and lessons are entirely in Spanish so students will have more opportunity to put their new Spanish skills into everyday use and learn even more. We offer multilingual book lending/trade.
