Our course is aimed as those wishing to teach adults both general and business English. All our teachers are fully qualified with over 30 years teaching experience between them. As the majority of teaching vacancies in Europe and Asia are in-company we felt there was a real need for a TEFL course that specifically addressed these needs. We have therefore designed a much more modern course that reflects the current business market to ensure you have the necessary skills to get the most prized and best paid positions. Our course has a high practical content with a minimum of 6 hours teaching practice as well as theory based lessons and the skills needed to plan, design and carry out classes for groups, one-2-one, intensive courses, telephone classes and more. Whilst going to study in a new country can be very exciting we are also aware that it may be disorientating and we therefore offer a very supportive learning environment. We offer practical help with jobs, administrative help if you wish to continue living and working in Spain, help with practical things like finding a doctor and membership to TtRed; our huge social network. As many trainees know little or no Spanish when they arrive, we also offer free Spanish classes to get you started. We also realise that the 4 week course is merely the start of your new career and we therefore offer continued support whether this is for a chat, professional support or because you need further help with materials and teaching. We also work with an excellent agency that helps you to find accommodation. Eligibility Minimum age 18 years old High school diploma or A level minimum. For mature students, relevant work experience is considered. Housing/Accommodation • Apartment / Flat Moving to a foreign country is an exciting adventure, until you need somewhere to live and find yourself on the phone with a Spanish real estate agent who speaks 100 miles per hour. And the weekend after your TEFL isn’t always the ideal time to roam the streets, homeless and practicing your Spanish in an attempt to find shelter. So in order to minimise these problems as much as possible, we have found an agency who works with us to make your transition as smooth as possible. To provide you with the option of permanent accommodation before you arrive, we have negotiated a deal with e.rooms. Natalia at e.room speaks English and will send you photos of rooms available for your arrival date. You can choose the place you prefer and she will arrange for someone to be at the flat with keys when you arrive. The advantages of using this agent is that they only charge you 60 euros to find a room, which can either be shared living, self contained flat or living with a Spanish family at full or half board. As an added reassurance, if you are not happy with your room when you arrive she will move you at no extra cost. Most agencies of this kind charge a minimum of one months rent for this service, but being one of our students you benefit from our special rates. You will be required to pay a deposit which is 50% of the months rent, which is also a great deal as most agencies require at least two months rent as a deposit. Deposits are refundable as long as long as you adhere to the notice period and don't damage anything. You will be required to pay for your room, commission and deposit in advance. So in summary, why have stress when you don't need to, e.rooms can make it easy.
