Overview
Includes placement, housing, and meals.
You will be placed in a hotel internship or restaurant internship based on your interests and qualifications. Your application will be carefully reviewed to determine the most relevant work experience for you. Your responsibilities will depend upon your qualifications, previous experience, French level, and motivation.

Types of positions range from kitchen and waiting duties to front desk, marketing, or other administrative tasks. You would work a maximum of 41 hours a week, with variable schedules, and 2 non-consecutive days off (to be arranged with the hotel). You will receive a monthly stipend of 200 Euro.
Placements are available throughout the French Riviera region including Nice, Montpellier and Perpignan. These young and vibrant cities of the South of France offer year-round sunshine, easy access to Barcelona, Paris and London, a university atmosphere, and best of all are located just a few miles from the beaches of the South of France. By working in France and immersing yourself in the French language and culture, you'll get to improve your French and gain international work experience, while learning about the French culture and way of life.
Eligibility
Interns must:
* Be between 18 and 30
* Have an intermediate level of French
* Have some previous experience in their desired field(s) of placement
* Be able to commit to 3 months (2-month placements are possible between May and September)
Housing/Accommodation

Full board accommodation is provided for hotel interns, usually a double room shared with another intern or hotel employee. Accommodation is not provided for company based interns, but can be arranged by our French partner office for approximately 200 Euro per week.

Program Fee: $1,395

You will be required to provide your own accident and sickness insurance for international travelers to cover the full length of your stay abroad. Discounted insurance is available through InterExchange for $60 per month, or you may purchase it from another source.
Costs
Include: * Placement in an internship matching your interests and qualifications
* Airport pickup (for weekday arrivals between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.). Not available for placements outside cities
* Orientation upon arrival and monthly activities with other interns
* Access to discounted international accident and sickness insurance
* Pre-departure and in-country assistance from InterExchange and our partner organization in France
Dates
3-month program running between January and October.
(2 month placements are only available between May and September.)
