Overview
Antioch College has been sending students to study at Eberhard-Karls-Universitat (Tübingen University) since 1958. Students will learn what it is to live, work and study in a dynamic, student-centered, historic German city. The Antioch Germany program encourages complete cultural immersion while supporting the needs of American students abroad.
Emphasis is placed on pre-semester preparation, with four to eight weeks at the Goethe Institut, followed by a four-week intensive Language and Orientation Program at Tübingen University. Students then spend one or two semesters enrolled in regular courses at Tübingen University. A Resident Advisor facilitates student independant research, internships or part-time work as necessary.
In Tübingen, Antioch program participants study with German students in classes taught by German professors. Students choose from hundreds of courses and may enroll in any level for which they have the background. Advanced academic work is available in all disciplines and there are special opportunities for students of the theoretical and applied sciences.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Students normally enroll in 16 credits per semester.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed at least wo years of undergraduate study and have previous German language study.

•
Dormitory
