Since being founded in 1992, we have grown to a team of 130 people around the world that sends 2000 volunteers annually. Volunteers can go at any time, for as long as they wish. Since Mongolia's democratic revolution in 1990, Mongolia's capital has become one of the fastest-growing cities in Central Asia. Ulaanbaatar now has many surprising opportunities for business growth. We have placements for you in business administration and management, and in a wide range of manufacturing and service companies, including those in the growing tourism industry. Imports account for around 90 per cent of Mongolia's consumer spending and, as a result, trading companies dominate the economy. A placement in this sector could involve you working with a director or general manager of a small or medium-sized company, often handling cross-border contracts with Russian and Chinese clients, or in major Mongolian companies. Hotels, publishers and a host of other industries are also happy to host volunteers on work experience placements. The possibilities are almost limitless - let us know what sort of experience you are looking for and we'll see what we can arrange. Whatever you end up doing you'll get a fascinating insight into a small-scale but burgeoning business environment. Eligibility Minimum age = 17 Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Pre month: 2,095 for one month, $2,595 for two months, $2,895 for three months, $545 for each additional month. Costs Include:  Food, Accommodation, Health & Travel insurance, in-country transportation and support. Dates Dates are flexible, for any length of time over one month.
