Earn college credit while living and traveling throughout Central Europe. Be a participant of THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL program. This six-week international summer school will be held in one of the most beautiful, scenic, and historic crossroads of Europe-Innsbruck, Austria. You can choose from over fifty (50) undergraduate or graduate credit courses taught by excellent American and European faculty. All courses are taught in English (except the German and Italian language courses) and all are specially selected from disciplines in the Humanities, Liberal Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Business that will enhance your experience of living and learning in the “Heart of the Alps.” And you will have plenty of time to travel on three day weekends. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  up to nine (9) semester credit hours from the University of New Orleans. The University of New Orleans is a SACS approved institution. Eligibility Students must have a 2.5 GPA and eligible to return to their home institution for the fall semester. Students must also have approval from their home institution and all credit will be fully accepted by that students home institution. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory A student kitchen is available for all students in the Student Dorm. Program Costs The cost of the International Summer School program is $4,295.00 (program cost may vary) Costs Include:  Program Cost Includes the Following: Tuition for six to nine credit hours. Housing in the student dorm - the Rossl in der Au. Buffett Breakfast & Full Lunch on class days. Opening & Closing Ceremony parties Grillfest party Afternoon activites during the program Red Beans & Rice Night Party Travel Assistance by UNO Staff Comprehensive Medical Insurance Policy for all participants Transcript fees Program certificate upon completion of the program International Summer School ID card Financial Aid Yes. Financial Aid is available for University of New Orleans Students. Please check with the Financial Aid Office at your home institution for more info on Financial Aid. Students from Alabama may use the PACT program for tuition costs and students from Georgia may use the HOPE scholarship towards tuition costs. Scholarships are available to University of New Orleans and University of Georgia students. Dates The dates of the UNO-Innsbruck International Summer School are from July to mid-August every summer. Deadlines There is no application deadline but the program will fill by April 1st.
