Take day trips to Otavalo, Cotopaxi National Park, and the Cloud Forest Reserve. The four week program includes a total of 80 hours of Spanish classes, host family accommodation, and activities and excursions. You will have the chance to observe wildlife in three distinct ecosystems, the volcanoes, the highlands of the Andes Mountains, and the cloud forest. Living with your local host family and visiting the indigenous community in Otavalo are great opportunities to learn about Costa Rican culture first hand. Eligibility Students must be at least 15 years old and have the equivalent of two or more years of high school Spanish.
