Overview
Participate in two exciting courses in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Cross-listed in history and Spanish, "Latin Ameican Civiliation and Culture" is a study of the cultural heritage of the Spanish American countries from the pre-Columbian civilizations to the present, with particular emphasis on contemporary cultural issues. The second course is Spanish language study (beginning - advanced). Improve language skills by living with a family. Special activities include musical and/or theatrical events, visits to archeological sties, and visits to rural villages and indigenous communities.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Credit is granted and the transcript is issued by Augsburg College for the equivalent of 2 courses or 6-8 semester hours.

Include: This includes tuition for two courses, course related field trips, room & board with host families, pre-trip preparation materials, airport or bus transfers, and general program oversight.
