Overview
WISE Abroad adds value to your international education experience primarily in two ways, through diverse and creative programs, and affordable program fees. Unlike other international education providers, WISE Abroad offers programs at competitive prices because it maintains low administrative fees by collaborating with partners overseas who operate and manage programs out of their existing offices. WISE Abroad partners operate in Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America and USA. WISE Abroad partners have developed key business networks with academic institutions, private industry, government entities and non-government organizations across the globe, and are active successful leaders in the communities where they live.
Mission:
WISE Abroad is a non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of global awareness and understanding among college students, recently graduated college students and educators through work-and-travel programs abroad, international internships and study abroad programs.
Founders and Partners
WISE Abroad's founders, partners and advisors are a dedicated team of professionals with extensive experience in the field of international education and business (spanning over 50 years of collective international experience). Staff and partners at WISE Abroad strive for customer service excellence, and are committed to providing positive life-changing international education opportunities for American and international students across the globe. Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Our staff works closely with study abroad staff in U.S. academic institutions and host country academic institutions to ensure academic credit validation.
Eligibility
U.S.A and international college students and recently graduated students are welcomed to apply who have at least a 2.25 GPA (GPA requirement exceptions granted on a case by case basis).

Program Costs
Program costs depend on the type of program and duration of stay. Costs for Summer and internship abroad programs are lower than Fall or Spring programs because summer programs are shorter in duration.
Costs
Include: Among the many items covered in your host country experience are airport and campus reception, exciting excursions, full college tuition, basic health insurance, meals and fully furnished housing, internet access, expert assistance with travel (airfare is included in internship programs), university enrollment, course credit transfer, and daily life issues in your host country - unmatched $ value for your program fees.
Financial Aid
Yes.
Scholarships are available based on merit and financial need on a case by case basis.
Dates
Internship and study abroad programs are offered in the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to apply three to four months before the program begins to give our country directors ample time to secure housing, college courses and/or internship placements.
Deadlines
Summer applications are due in March; Fall applications are due in June, and Spring applications are due in October. Please visit our website for specific details.
