Overview
Thyme Homestay is a heritage house from 1908 that offers ESL lessons and activities in a small town setting.
Guests study English at home with a certified teacher while experiencing outdoor activities. This is ideal for those wanting to study with a limited amount of time.
Activities include snowboarding, horseback riding, sleigh rides, vineyard tours, Caravan Farm Theatre, hiking, swimming, and trips to the area lavender farm. Guests enjoy the French style decor, gardens, classroom, fireplace and nature.
We are a family of three who have lived and taught overseas in Japan. We offer short stay accommodation that is truly unique.
Our heritage house is a 45 minute flight from Vancouver to Kelowna followed by a scenic one hour drive by shuttle service.
The weekly rate of $700.00 CAD includes ESL lessons, most activities, transportation, three healthy meals daily and a private room in a spacious heritage home. Our full time job is devoted to teaching and taking our guests on tours and activities
