Overview
The Race and Ethnicity program focuses on race and ethnicity, and how these two terms (and their usage) has effected life in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. With an academic focus on anthropology and living arrangements with an Ecuadorian family, students have the chance to look at both the surface impact of these two ideas and the deeper social implications that they have as well. Intensive Spanish classes will also be offered for a total of 6 semester credits, granted through the University of Lethbridge (CA).
