Overview
The Boston University School of Management’s Entrepreneurial Management Institute (EMI) has developed a program focused on the management of start-up companies blending the academic tools required to develop and operate an entrepreneurial business with practical approaches to making such a business financially successful and internationally competitive.
The Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurial Management is a unique four-month program that provides professionals with the ability to recognize business resources and opportunities; enact successful decision-making processes; and assess the risks associated with entrepreneurial business management.
Students who successfully graduate from Boston University School of Management Graduate Diploma programs have the opportunity to gain valuable industry-related professional experience through our semester Graduate Internship program.
After completing both a diploma program and internship program successfully, Boston University School of Management students are eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT). Through OPT, students will be able to remain in the U.S. and work for up to one year at a salary negotiated with the employer.
