The school is located just one block from the beach and is in walking distance to the most of the hotels and restaurants in town. Our students can stay at one of the student houses in Tamarindo or stay with a host family in the nearby towns Villarreal and Santa Rosa. During the week and on the weekends we offer all kind of acitivities and trips to the different National Parks. Come and learn to speak Spanish with WAYRA and take advantage of multicultural diversity, scenic splendor and tranquility. Special Courses or Features Spanish for Academic Purposes Spanish for Business Purposes Spanish for Medical Purposes Programs for Children (12 years old or younger) Small Classes (5 or less per class) One-to-One / Private Lessons Short Programs (1 Week or Less) Activities Available Golf Tennis Water Sports Horse Riding Dance Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  We do not work together with a specific University or college but our students have received credits from different Universities and Colleges during the last years. Eligibility The minimum age for students is for children that can read and write. There are no other requirements. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Homestay / Host Family • Apartment / Flat • Hostel Program Costs 1 week classes is $230.00, 2 weeks $450.00, 3 weeks $650.00, 4 weeks $800.00. Every aditional week $200.00. For lodging we charge $120.00 per week for host families and $150.00 - $200.00 per week for housing in one of the student houses. There are no hidden costs such as registraion fees etc. Costs Include:  20 hours group lessons per week. Lodging, breakfast and dinner with host family. Lodging and breakfast at the student houses. Dates We do start every Monday with new classes, during the whole year round. In order to confirm the program we need the deposit at least one month before the classes start. But, depending on the availability, we also do accept last minutes registrations. Deadlines Normally 1 month, but last minutes applications are also accepted.
