Experience a more comprehensive look at healthcare and medicine. Personally experience different types of holistic medicine and learn how to work on the deeper levels of ailments and disease. Our five week program is designed in such a way to enable you the total experience of a very different approach to the human body and mind as a complement to their daily work with traditional medicine or simply to enrich their daily lives. You will learn the art and science of Pranic Healing which is based on ancient truths well known in India and China. To complement and enable a deeper understanding of these new healing techniques, we offer meditation and yoga classes throughout their stay. Other parts of the program include an introduction to Ayurvedic Medicine, spending time with local practitioners, hospitals and clinics, as well as a ten day trip into the Himalayan Mountains to learn about healthcare in these remote regions. Medical students may also fulfill certain university requirements for clinical hours depending on their skills and qualifications. Eligibility While the focus of our project is geared towards medical students,we welcome anyone above the age of 18 who is interested in medicine and healing.We also require English language comprehension.
