Overview
Our Spanish Language School is located in the commercial core of modern Quito. We offer Spanish lessons for all levels. Courses are available all year round. Our programs are designed to combine grammar with conversation, reading and writing practice. Students have the opportunity to live in an Ecuadorian host family.
The Academia de Español Quito (AEQ) is housed in a modern and comfortable building, with a roof-top terrace that offers a beautiful view of Quito skyline, and where beverages are served during breaks.
We offer a variety of programs to choose from. Our Intensiva, Activa, Optativa and Pacific programs are all one-on-one individual instruction. The directors have developed a versatile program of instruction that adapts to each individual. Each student is the only focus of each instructor and all materials are tailored according to a student’s needs. In the Anaconda program, classes are held in small groups. Group lessons are available for those interested in learning Spanish with friends. Each group should not be larger than five students and should be arranged by the students themselves before coming to the school.
An important component of this program is the opportunity to enjoy all the comforts and advantages of living with an Ecuadorian host family. These families are carefully chosen by the school. The student is provided with a private bedroom, two daily meals and laundry service. AEQ places only one student per host family in order to guarantee each student unlimited opportunities of practicing Spanish, however, upon request, a couple, members of the same family or friends may live in the same homestay.
At your arrival in Quito, a representative of the school will greet you at the airport and will drive you to the place of your choice, without any extra charge.

Students from any country in the world with a minimum age of 16 years, if not accompanied by their parent.

Tuition and accommodation. In the Activa, Anaconda and Pacific program, the prices include activities and transportation as well.

Our programs start any day of the week from Monday through Friday.
