Overview
This volunteer/internship position will allow participants to work hands-on with reptiles and amphibians in one of the most beautiful regions on Earth: the tropical forests of South America. We will spend long hours in the forest, finding, identifying, measuring and photographing each individual reptile or amphibian we find. Please contact us for more information.
Reptile Research is a non-profit organizaiton dedicated to conservation research of reptiles and amphibians. We offer courses, volunteer opportunities, and educational outreach.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Credit is earned through a participant's own school with a cooperative agreement with Reptile Research.
Eligibility
Minimum age 18 or accompanied by an adult.
Dates
Three periods per year, August, January, and July. Terms are for 2-3 weeks, although longer terms may be taken via independent study.
