Overview
 EL Paraiso School is located in the islands of Bocas del Toro, is the Panamanian province closest to Costa Rica, and a staggeringly beautiful place.
Booming during the 19th and early 20th century, exporting marine turtle shell and bananas, it fell into economic decline and until relatively recently, remained undiscovered. Now it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Panama.
The school's focus is to offer high quality immersion spanish lessons. We offer studies in a minigroup of maximum 5 students with 20 hours of instruction a week or private classess of 15 or 20 hours a week. There is also a conversation class of 1 hour available free three times a week to all interested students.
One of our great strengths is our Homestay Program. Panamanians are known for their warm welcoming spirit and nowhere is it more apparent than in la casa.
You will live in the home of one of our selected families and made to feel immediately welcome. Breakfast will be provided each day. Free laundry. You will be free to come and go as you like and your right to privacy is always assumed and maintained. Talking with your host family provides an excellent opportunity to practice your Spanish and generate questions to bring back to your next class.

Seattle Central Community College is an accredited US College, and as such credits are normally easily approved and transferred between US Colleges.
El Paraiso is an Registered Language Institute in Costa Rica and Panama of high repute and its courses have been recognised and approved by several US Colleges.
