Overview
Succeed with Okanagan College: get a degree, diploma, certificate, English As A Second Language (ESL) training or short-term group study. A public institution, the college is located in the scenic, clean and safe southern interior of British Columbia, Canada.
International students are integrated into Canadian programs and participate in all aspects of academic and campus life with Canadians and students from around the world. International students enrolled in upper level ESL courses may choose to enrol in one or two university courses.
We invite you to explore all that Okanagan College has to offer. The college has 4 campuses located throughout the Okanagan Region. Each campus offers a friendly, comfortable, wireless learning environment. There is personal attention and support from instructors and staff to help ensure student success. We have a wide variety of nationally recognized programs, with dedicated and accomplished faculty who encourage student participation.

Eligibility
All degree and diploma programs require that students have B.C. Grade 12 or equivalent 70% or higher; 60% for entry to Arts & Science, A TOEFL score of 550 paper-based or 213 computer-based. Applicants must be 18 years of age, or turn 18 during their first semester or be at least 21 years of age and out of full-time high school study for three years. Any country of origin, must have a valid study permit if studying for more than 6 months.

Homestay is a vital part of Okanagan College International Education's commitment to delivering a Canadian living and learning experience of our students. Our program is an opportunity for cultural exchange between Canadians and International students. Host families learn about other countries and cultures and help studetns adjust to living in Canada. Students get more practis with their English and learn about Canadian lifestyles, values and customs.
Student Residence offers furnished, non-smoking accommodations at the Kelowna campus. The residence is located only steps away from classrooms, libraries, recreational and fitness facilities, and food services.
Off campus housing is also available, whether it is just short term or long term stay. Apartments and houses can be rented near the campus. You can look for room and board accommodations or private suites or rent a place with friends. If you choose private accommodation you must arrange this yourself
Program Costs
$4500/4month semester + student fees (based on 5 - 3 credit courses without labs or 4-5 non-credit ESL courses)
$1000/4week modules
Costs
Include: Non-Instructional Programming: Recreational and cultural activities, An academic and language support centre to help with your learning needs, Instructional Programming, computer-assisted language lab,
ESL courses only: 25 hours of full time ESL classes per week, for example English Essentials 1-4, Reading, Writing, and Pronunciation or Speaking or Grammar.
ESL AND degree/diploma courses: 5 courses per semester (English Essentials 1-4 will be counted as two courses)

Okanagan College invites international students who are attending high school locally to apply for further study at its campuses in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm and Vernon. Available options range from three distinct English as a Second Language programs to a variety of degree, diploma and certificate programs.
Dates
Degree/Diploma & Academic ESL Courses: Fall Semester - September-December, Winter Semester - January-April, Spring Semester - May-June, July Semester - July-August.
Intensive ESL & Professional ESL - 4 week modules - various intakes every 4 weeks.
