Learn Spanish Merida or Playa Colorada, Venezuela. Summary of reasons to learn Spansih with Jakera - Venezuela is the gateway to South America, and therefore often has the cheapest airfares to South America for your students - Venezuela is a bio diverse country. It has the Andes, third largest Delta is the world, Tepuy, Caribbean beaches, Llanos, stunning tropical islands, the Amazon … and lots of wildlife. With our programs you can Learn Spansih AND travel and experience this amazing country - Jakera has been operating for 10 years - We have two schools. One based in the Andean student city of Merida (known to be a safe city) and also right on the Caribbean beach of Playa Colorada (a small and safe community). This means that you are offered a great variety of locations to combine. What do we offer? We currently offer 6 programs - Intensive Spanish (20 or 30 hours per week) - Spanish and Adventure (1-4 weeks+). Merida is the adventure capital of Venezuela. - Spanish plus volunteer. Learn Spanish as you volunteer. This includes the well renown Don Bosco ‘street kids’ project, a wildlife sanctuary/zoo, and helping at a indigenous Warao Indian school in a remote jungle area of the Orinoco Delta - Medical Spanish. This is in conjunction with the Universidad de los Andes Medical school and hospital - Political Spanish. This has become increasing popular with students wishing to get a different perceptive on Venezuela left wing international stance - 2-6 month Travelling Classroom. Students learn Spanish as they travel the length and breadth of Venezuela including Angel Falls, Orinoco Delta, Mochima National park, hiking Roriama, jeep safari into the Gran Sabana etc. We are really friendly, and know you will enjoy your time wth us!
