Students also study and analyze the construction of Peruvian culture through two CIEE courses on contemporary Peruvian social reality and the ancient civilizations and historical events that have shaped Peruvian society. The program strives for total cultural and language immersion through carefullyselected host families, cultural excursions, and the Compañero PUCP program. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Total recommended credit for the semester is 16 semester/24 quarter hours. Eligibility • Overall GPA 2.75 • 2-4 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Fall 2007 - $9,900 Spring 2008 - $9,900 Fall 2008 - Available 12/15/2007 Costs Include:  The CIEE fees for 2007–08 include tuition, optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, housing, all meals, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits.
