Overview
The goals of the program are to refine students’ Spanish language skills through language courses, to enhance students’ understanding of contemporary Peruvian society through the CIEE core course, and to meet a wide variety of students’ academic interests through direct matriculation at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. The program strives for total cultural and language immersion through carefully selected host families, cultural excursions, and the Compañero PUCP program that encourages friendships with local Peruvian students.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Total recommended credit for the semester is 16-22 semester/24-33
quarter hours and for the year is 32-44 semester/48-66 quarter hours.

Costs
Include: The CIEE fees for 2007–08 include tuition, optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, housing, all meals, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits.
