These goals are achieved through an intensive 3-week Spanish language program, a Spanish for Business required course, direct enrollment at the Universidad del Pacífico, cultural activities, and an optional non-credit internship. Through homestays, students are immersed in the Spanish language and Peruvian culture. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Total recommended credit for the semester is 15-22 semester/22.5-33 quarter hours and for the year is 30-44 semester/45-66 quarter hours. Eligibility • Overall GPA 2.75 • Minimum 5 semesters of Spanish language or the equivalent • 3 semester of micro- or macroeconomics, accounting, finance, management, marketing or statistics Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Spring 2008 - $10,900 Academic Year 2007-08 - $20,000 Calendar Year 2008 - $19,800 Academic Year 2008-09 - Available 12/15/2007 Costs Include:  The CIEE fees for 2007–08 include tuition, optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, housing, all meals, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits. Financial Aid Yes. We offer a number of scholarships for which our students may apply.
