Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Total recommended credit for the semester is 15-19/22.5-28.5 quarter hours. Eligibility • Overall GPA 3.0 • 3 semesters of micro-or macroeconomics, accounting, finance, management, marketing, or statistics Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Spring 2008 - $13,125 Costs Include:  The CIEE fees for 2007–08 include tuition, housing, two meals daily, optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, orientation, cultural activities (such as museum visits, theater, and dance performances), local excursions (group meals, Brazilian music performances, visit to the Japanese neighborhood of Liberdade, Avenida Paulista, and Parque do Ibirapuera), field trips (such as to Rio de Janeiro, the colonial city of Parati, the Landless movement headquarters, Aparecida do Norte, soccer games, and samba schools), admission fees to host university events, immersion activities including language partners, comprehensive student handbook, pre-departure advising, in-country documents, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits.
