Overview
The Cambodian Studies summer program helps students understand Cambodia’s history and culture from ancient times to the present, with particular focus on the Khmer Rouge regime and its aftermath. Students study the challenges of nation building, reconciliation, and democracy in post-conflict countries while exploring Cambodia’s economic and cultural transformation as at it opens up to the world.

Costs
Include: The CIEE fee for 2008 includes an optional on-site airport meet and greet, tuition, housing, orientation, full-time program leadership and support, cultural activities, local excursions, visa extension fees, field trips, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits.
