TEFL International Tuscany has teamed with the owners of The Learning Center of Tuscany, a language and culture center located in Florence, in order to offer a high quality, research-based yet practical preparation for teaching English throughout the world. Through TEFL International’s course, students find themselves experiencing foreign cultures and languages and embarking on new careers as English language teachers, either abroad or even in their home countries. No previous teaching experience or specific qualifications are required. The only requirement is that students possess fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to produce university-level work. TEFL International is validated and moderated by a Board of Academic Advisors (BOAA), which is comprised of many of the leading names in the industry as well as local language professionals in each of TEFL International’s locations around the world. The directors of The Learning Center of Tuscany (TLC) were “extremely impressed” by not only the pedagogical knowledge of the TEFL International staff, but also by the “obvious practical skills” that they were able to “effectively communicate” to their students.
