Overview
The Australia, New Zealand and Fiji Field Program is a four week summer travel study abroad program offered for academic credit by the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The course provides an introduction to the physical and human geographies, the cultures, histories, and environments of the three countries we visit. It is open to US and Canadian students from all schools, majors, and years of study. The Program has been in operation since 1999.

Eligibility
Open to college students from US and Canada, regardless of major, school, or year of study. No background in geography required. Minimum GPA 2.0.

This is a travel study program, and all accommodation arrangements are made by the organizers. Accommodation is mainly in hotels and hostels; there may also be a one-night homestay in Fiji.
Program Costs
Travel, tour, and accommodation costs: $6,650
Tuition: $384 for Virginia residents, $1620 our-of-state (for three credit course)
Costs
Include: Price includes international air travel from Los Angeles to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, all domestic travel in these countries, accomodation (shared rooms,) all tours, all breakfasts and 15 other meals. Does not include some lunches and dinner or personal expenses.
