Overview
Ireland is the only country in the world with a musical instrument as it's national
symbol: the harp. It's mythology is laden with bards and poets - in ancient times one could not be a warrior unless one was a poet as well. Ireland has a grand literary tradition, from Jonathon Swift to Bram Stoker and more Nobel laureates for literature than any other country: Joyce, Yeats, Beckett, Heaney. Trinity College is one of the world's most respected academic institutions."And Dublin is a city of bookstores, theaters and literary landmarks, and a true party town, with music and poetry in hundreds of venues seven nights a week."
What could make this a better place to write poetry? Learning from world class poet Campbell McGrath, of FIU. Traveling with an eclectic group of fascinating people from ages 18 to 80, from all over America. An experienced group leader to make your travel easy. A price so cheap you almost can't live at home for the same price. That's Creative Writing at Trinity College in Dublin 2007.
