It is a year-round study abroad program designated exclusively for those who are interested in learning the necessary skills that will maximize individual success on their business pursuits with China. The LAB Program curriculum consists of not only Chinese business language immersion, and addition to business courses on how to conduct business in China, lectures on understanding the Chinese legal and political systems, seminars on cross-cultural communication, field trips to corporations and as well as roundtable discussion with executives. All LAB's language instructors are young, energetic and well trained, as many of the faculty members are bi-lingual (in English and Chinese) and are culturally experienced. Most importantly, they are experts in their fields with a minimum of 5 years of business experience. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Thunderbird LAB offers U.S. university/college credits. Credits are to be approved at students' primary university/college. Eligibility 18 years of age or older with 2.5 GPA or higher. In addition, three months of college level Mandarin Chinese. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Homestay / Host Family • Apartment / Flat Program Costs Summer: US$3950 Spring/Fall: US$6950 Costs Include:  Housing, tuition, books and class materials, arranged travels, executive dinners, field trips and corporate visits dinning, SOS emergency insurance. It however does not cover airfare, meals, visa fees and other personal expenses.
