Program Terms • Summer Program Participants • Teenagers • High School		Quick Look • Location: Northeast of Brazil - Brazil • Language of Instruction: English Overview GLA offers exciting and unique leadership development opportunities through: community service, seminars, interactions with international students and local leaders. Come explore the Northeast region of Brazil, known for its rich tradition of Afro-Brazilian culture. Through The GLA Experience – Brazil, you will truly experience the culture of one of the most diverse nations in the world. Percussion, capoiera, dance and traditional African religion all co-exist alongside a growing economy with modern buildings, bustling streets and astounding beaches. Eligibility Global leadership accepts students from 14-18 years of age, that are currently in High School. We accept students from top schools around the world, and we try to have an internationally diversified student body. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Apartment / Flat All housing is provided by the program and included in the fee. Students do not have to have any worries towards where they will be lodged. It is always a local resort or hotel, with 3 star level accomodations, clear running water, laundry and heating/air conditioning where necessary. Program Costs GLA programs are all-inclusive and cover everything except airfare and personal expenses (e.g. souvenirs and snacks). Specifically, fees include: Room and board, including three full meals per day Transportation throughout the program Entrance fees and tickets to all non-optional group excursions and activities Travel & health insurance The all-inclusive fee for each GLA program is US $4,395. However, if you apply early and submit your completed application before December 31, 2006, you will recieve a $300 early enrollment discount. Costs Include:  GLA programs are all-inclusive, except for airfare. We provide students housing, transportation, three full meals a day, health and travel insurance, as well as entrance fees to most main attractions. Financial Aid Yes.
